There are a lot of great resources available. There is also a lot of misinformation and outdated education on the internet. One of the greatest problems in this industry is the way others inflate your expectations then overcharge for their training. Before you spend thousands on your trading education, learn and practice a good principle-based strategy to get some real experience. You may find it works better for you than any of the other high-cost training courses out there.
How long will it take me to learn LTWT's trading strategy?
Our interactive training program takes about 4 weeks to learn and practice. You will have lifetime access to our step-by-step curriculum that is designed to teach you how to trade LTWT's strategy in the most efficient and effective way possible. You will begin on a simulator until you are comfortable trading live money.
What trading platforms do you support?
We recommend GSTrader because it is a simple program but provides all the tools necessary for our strategy (we like simple!). However, if you are more comfortable on another platform you can program our indicators into one of your own choice so long as it supports live trading for emini markets.
What time of day should I trade?
We typically encourage trading between 9:30 am and 11:00 am EST (the first hour or so of the open market) as this is where you will generally find the most market activity. Some traders like to trade the afternoon sessions as well, which is perfectly fine. Historically the morning session has the best volume and volatility.
Can I use the LTWT Trading Strategy in other markets?
Absolutely! We like to trade the S&P 500 e-mini and Russell 2000, but our strategy will work on any market that derives its price between the forces of supply and demand. With some simple adjustments, you can trade other e-mini, equity, or currency markets.
What's the minimum amount of money I need to start trading?
We are not futures brokers and we do not manage any accounts. Generally, brokers require that you open an account with at least $5000, and we agree with that recommendation. Just like any other business, if you are under-captialized, you could run into problems. However, should you wish to establish an account and partially fund it until you have enough to trade a live account comfortably, you can open an account with Global Futures for as little as $1000. Keeping your new account in an 'in-active' status until you have it fully funded and ready to trade live will allow you continued simulator privileges on the GSTrader platform.
Does LTWT's Trading Strategy use automatic stops to protect me?
Yes, we use a maximum stop in an effort to minimize our losses. We have a very disciplined approach to risk management and 'risk-to-reward' rations. We shoot for a profit potential of 2:1, meaning we'll risk $1 if we see a chance to make $2 or more. By keeping our stops smaller than our winners, it really helps to take away much of the stress most traders encounter when trading.
What kind of support am I going to receive from you?
Please understand my intention of changing this course content from fully personal mentoring to strictly online training was to free up my time from the demands of personal training. Can I make money when the market goes down? How about trending and channeling markets?
Yes! You can make money if the market goes up, down, or sideways. We can 'short' the market, which makes you money if the markets go down. Our multiple trade setups attempt to work in both trending and channeling markets.
I'm new to the market. Will I be able to learn the LTWT Strategy with no previous market experience?
Yes, no prior market experience is necessary prior to joining. Our program is great for both new traders and professional traders. The training will teach you the basics, then show you how to trade the market using LTWT's Trading Strategy. We don't just teach general trading theory, we teach a unique, systematic approach that you will be able to implement.
